American Majority Trains 25,000 Individuals

Despite President Obama’s plan to spend, tax, and increase our already bloated government, there’s a smile on my face today. Over 25,000 Americans from the far corners of our nation and everywhere in between are taking action with plans of their own. And unlike the President’s policy list, their action items involve effectively promoting individual liberty and economic growth.

Last night in Wisconsin, we trained our 25,000th person in five years, and we’re excited to watch the momentum build. Who are these 25,000? They’re you, your neighbors, and the people across town.

In five years, we’ve worked with smart people across 45 states who know that local government is the cradle for America self-government. We believe that a country is made strong and free only through local citizens engaging in the process of governing themselves. The more vibrant these communities, the stronger the fabric of this nation will become. Read about Lori Fenwick who learned how to blog at one of our Ohio trainings and is now considered the go-to person for local political news. “Don’t underestimate the impact and power of your voice,” Fenwick says. “The one person who has something to say can make a huge difference.”
