Please Join Me in Houston this Saturday!

Fellow Patriots:

If you’re in the Houston area, please consider joining the North Houston Tea Party this Saturday for a “I Will Vote” rally to gear up for election day.

This Saturday, October 16th, from 10 AM – 2 PM, we’ll be rallying at the Sam Houston Race Park Showgrounds, discussing what motivates us to vote, and what we’ll do to actively promote candidates and causes we care about.

Admission is free and food will be available for purchase all afternoon.

I’ll be there representing American Majority Action, signing people up at the “Activism Table” to phone bank and block walk. It’s crucial that Tea Party activists both in Houston and nationwide help get out the vote for conservative candidates to really make a positive change both in DC, but even more importantly, in local government. Without a conservative farm team running the show in our towns, cities, counties and state, we won’t have the base needed to actively get conservatives elected and eventually make headway in our attempts to limit government in Washington.
If you’re in or near Houston, I really hope you’ll join me – and consider getting involved with American Majority Action, the North Houston Tea Party, and all of the other fine organizations that will be present. I’m looking forward to hearing the exciting keynote speakers, and connecting with activists who really want to engage in order to make a difference.

I know this will be a great event and our last big “hurrah” before our victory celebrations post-election. However, we mustn’t rest until November 2^nd. Afterwards, we certainly deserve a short break – but we cannot afford to forget that post-election follow-up is key. If we don’t hold our elected officials  (of both parties) accountable, they’re liable to run amok. Unfortunately, the perks and powers that come with being an elected official can tempt even the most principled among us. It’s up to we the people to secure our own liberties – and a large part of guaranteeing that we remain free comes with letting those who represent us know we’re watching, and that there will be consequences for any actions taken to endanger our God given rights.

I hope to see you at the Sam Houston Race Park Saturday at 10AM! Don’t forget to bring your rally signs, enthusiasm, and willingness to put your boots on the ground and actively support candidates who truly believe in the ideals that you and I hold so dear.
