Sometimes people have the unfortunate misconception that their values don’t apply to their government, or that government is somehow inaccessible to them. It’s easy to understand how America’s youth can especially feel irrelevant.
That’s why American Majority is proud to bring its Youth and Government Training to Newport News, VA. We will meet on Thursday, November 3rd, 6:30 pm at 110 Main Street.
This event is focused on students in middle and high school. The goal is for students to understand that their worldview is vital to their politics and how important it is that they be involved. They are then given practical advice on how to be involved.
Topics include:
- How elections are run and won
- What is a Government? Why does it matter?
- Why your values are important
- How you can be involved
- The importance of youth in government and culture
While the event is directed to students, all are welcome to attend.
