Our nation was founded by ordinary citizen activists desiring a government that was accountable to the people. Today, ordinary citizens across our nation are tired of the status quo and ready to engage for the betterment of their communities. American Majority’s political training addresses these passions by providing education and resources to help you meet your goals.

American Majority is pleased to announce it is hosting an Activism training on Saturday, March 19 from 9:30am to 4pm, with registration at 9am. The event is open to the public. The training will be held at the Brothers 2 Banquets (2902 Watson Blvd. Endwell NY 13760). The cost is $40 per person. These costs include all training materials, lunch and drinks. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged.

The Training will include the following topics (subject to change):

Grassroots Machine: Politics is a year-round business. In order to be successful, you must assemble and activate your own permanent coalition by recruiting and motivating volunteers. Learn to hold elected officials accountable; work together with other organizations in your area; and successfully achieve common goals.

Grassroots Lobbying: Learn what is takes to push your reforms through the legislature. Grassroots can be a powerful motivator to move legislation when they are organized and effectively use the tools at their disposal, from social media to letters to the editor and everything in between.

How to Message to the Heart: Discover how to communicate in a way that actually changes hearts and minds, including how to combat attacks from progressives.

Ten Steps to Full Speed Ahead: Because there often isn’t much time between primaries and a general election, the local activist and volunteer is a future leader’s most significant resource. Make the most of your time and resources by following these 10 practical ways to mobilize your community in 2016 and beyond.
