Thomas Paine said, “When we are planning for posterity, we ought to remember that virtue is not hereditary.” Young people need to take to heart the virtuous convictions of our founding principles. Even better than merely holding these virtues is when America’s youth act on them and actively seek to promote and defend these convictions. That is why American Majority’s Youth Grassroots Training was developed.
American Majority is proud to be hosting our Youth Grassroots Training in Amherst, Wisconsin ( 6355 County Road DD, Amherst, WI 54406). We will meet on Tuesday, August 23 at 10:00 am.
The presentation is geared towards students age 13 through high school. Parents are more than welcome to attend. The Training Program includes the following topics*:
- What is a Government? Why does it matter?: Learn about how you should relate to and understand what a government is and where you fit in.
- How to Defend your values: Learning to effectively speak up about your values is critical to winning the cultural battle.
- The Power of Organized Grassroots: How you can make your voice heard in elections that impact you at all levels.
- The Power of Young People: The capacity the teens and young adults have to influence their peers and their communities.
