Social media is a powerful tool.  For candidates and causes, it is a quick inexpensive way to grow and audience and engage directly with voters.  Placing Facebook ads is a way to directly reach out to voters with targeted messages in their own home.

 

In this training you will learn:

 

1) What special FB permissions / settings are needed to be able to send political or issues ads?

2) a) How to specify narrow geographic reach 

     b) How to specify “find me conservatives for whom we don’t have emails”? 

     c) How best to target those who are on our current email  / newsletter lists?

3) What should we budget for FB ads?

4) What makes a political or issues ad “good” –  Pictures/words ratio, positioning.
