We’re winning so much, you’re going to get sick of it

You may have been focused on the top of the ticket on Tuesday night, but our eyes were keeping track of these guys. More than 100 American Majority trained candidates won their elections all across the country this year. These great conservatives, many of whom have never held elected office before, took our online or in-person trainings to heart and won their races as a result.

American Majority has conducted over 1,010 trainings, teaching nearly 38,000 people how to become more effectively involved conservative activists and representatives. One such conservative is Brian Mast. Congressman-elect Mast served as an explosives expert in Afghanistan but lost both of his legs in an IED blast while serving his country.

But Congressman-elect Mast wasn’t done serving his country yet. While recovering in the hospital, he told his wife when he was back to 100%, he would continue his life of service by running for public office. In July of 2013, Mast attended an American Majority training event and learned many of the skills and strategies that it would take to win. In August of 2015 Mast told us “the biggest thing I learned at the New Leaders Summit is that you need to go out there as a pillar of your community.”

On Tuesday, he won Florida’s 18th Congressional district decisively, by nearly 40,000 votes, taking a seat previously occupied by a Democrat. We honor the service of Congressman-elect Mast and all other veterans and their families that have sacrificed so much for our country. Without their honorable work, American’s wouldn’t have the freedom and the safety to live happy, prosperous lives.
