Local campaigning is all about shaking hands and knocking on doors of potential voters. This form of retail politics has changed due to concerns about spreading the coronavirus.
Candidates and campaigns are scrambling to figure out what to do this election cycle as their ability to directly interact with the public has been paused. Should masks be the new go to campaigning accessory? Would you be comfortable with candidates knocking doors in the fall once this pandemic has hopefully passed? Would a candidate knocking doors without gloves or a mask negatively impact your view of the candidate?
