American Majority Promotes Matt Batzel to National Executive Director
May 2, 2014
American Majority is pleased to announce Matt Batzel is our new National Executive Director. Matt Batzel had been the Wisconsin Executive Director since October 2010, when he opened that office. Under Matt Batzel’s leadership, the Wisconsin chapter of American Majority has trained 104 winning candidates at the state and local level, held over 100 trainings, and trained more than 3,800 individuals.
“I’m excited for the expanded opportunity to fulfill my passion of training a new generation of conservative leadership,” states Matt Batzel. “Our team’s success in Wisconsin will be shared with a wider audience of patriots who want to reform their communities and states.”
“Matt Batzel has personally led our flagship state chapter in Wisconsin with an incredibly deft touch for over four years. In this time, he has operated in an extremely hostile political climate, yet in spite of this, helped to create entirely new facts on the ground there,” states American Majority President Matt Robbins.
“Few have done more to serve as a resource, mobilize the conservative grassroots on an individual level, or fight back the organized forces of institutionalized government overreach than Matt and the very capable team under him. American Majority is proud to have been a part of bringing about real renewal and change in Wisconsin, and we are delighted to promote Matt to this new, national role, where we are certain he will continue to exceed expectations and shine as the true servant leader he is.”
Prior to joining American Majority, Matt gained experience at the state and federal levels, including in all three branches of the federal government. He has a tax law background, having practiced in the private sector for over two years following his graduation from law school. Matt resides in Cedar Grove, Wisconsin with his wife and four children.
