4 Ways to “Shake It Off” While on the Campaign Trail

The path to any elected office is far from glamorous and oftentimes has many bumps and discouragements along the way; the thing activists and future leaders need to remember is that there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
If one person slams his or her door in your face during a get-out-the-vote effort, there is generally a courteous soul who will say, politely, “Thanks but no thanks.”
This post is for those moments on the campaign trail that get you down in the dumps. Especially as primaries approach and you ramp up your GOTV efforts, remember to not sweat the small stuff. Instead — in the words of T. Swift — “shake it off.”
