Liberty University, Campus Majority

January 7, 2011

Often over-looked and under-utilized by traditional political organizations, American Majority believes today’s college students are among the most effective and passionate activists. Our Campus Majority program helps students increase their effectiveness on campus, and prepare them for leadership roles upon graduation. Designed specifically for the college environment, Campus Majority equips students to be a voice for liberty and freedom by offering practical training, encouragement and resources.

General topics include:

  • On-Campus Activism (Engaging through building coaltions, promoting institutional transparency, participating in the SGA, and much more)
  • Off-Campus Activism (Engaging through political campaigns, issue advocacy, voter registration, community service, and much more)
  • New and Traditional Media Activism (Communicating your message through social networking platforms and traditional media)

In addition to valuable training, this event provides an opportunity for students to network and brainstorm, as well as connect with experienced campaign staff and grassroots organizers. The event will be held on Tuesday, January 25th from 5:30pm-9:00pm, in room 1079 of DeMoss Hall. Registration is free- pizza and refreshments will be provided.
