Smyrna, TN Activist Training

Our nation was founded by ordinary citizen activists desiring a government that was accountable to the people. Today, ordinary citizens across our nation are tired of the status quo and ready to engage for the betterment of their communities.

American Majority is pleased to announce Activist Training will be conducted on May June 26th in Smyrna, TN to provide citizens with the tools necessary to become effective activists.

The training will take place at the Lancaster Christian Academy located at 150 Soccer Way, Smyrna, TN‎ – from 12 Noon to 4PM.  Registration opens at 11:00 AM.  There will be a “Tailgate Party” in the parking area immediately after training where food to purchase will be available.

You are cordially invited to stay for a special screening of the new movie “Don’t Tread on Me”, a 10^th Amendment State’s Rights documentary.

The cost is $25 per attendee pre-registered in advance; $30 per attendee at the door.

The training will be conducted by a certified American Majority Mechanic Trainer –Jake Robinson (read more about your trainer at the end of this article).

Highlights from the full program will be covered:

• The System (an in-depth look at the system we’re in, how we got there and what we can do about it).
• Grassroots Action (ideas and practical steps to engage our communities and organize a coalition of volunteers)
• Precinct Power (changing your community one precinct at a time with specific micro-targeting and focused action)
• Patriots 2.0 (effectively utilizing social networking tools, blogs, wiki projects and other technologically-driven platforms)

About Your Trainer

Jake Robinson is a professional financial services representative since 1995 helping scores of families gain control of their finances and helping make good decisions with their money.  As a co-organizer, Jake helped develop the first Tea Party on the Square in Murfreesboro, TN at high noon on April 15^th – Tax Day, 2009 and attracted over 3,000 people.  The local tea party has continued to grow with many tea party events since the original event.

It’s one thing to listen and learn, have a grasp of what you truly believe – but it is another to use your knowledge to take action.  Jake was chosen as one of thirty to become a “Mechanic” for the American Majority to teach grassroots conservative activism.  The term “Mechanic” comes from a pre-revolutionary group of citizen-activists who worked with Paul Revere to monitor British troop movements around Lexington – Concord. Today, the modern day “Mechanics” are making a difference right in their own communities as they teach cutting-edge activist strategies and tactics – once again, to alert their fellow neighbors about the onslaught of the progressive tide and how to defeat it.  Jake resides in Murfreesboro, TN with his wife, Heather, and has two daughters attending college.  Jake maintains his financial services business and is involved with a local 912 group making a difference in the Middle Tennessee area.
