You are right about more women are doing everything we can to make sure that conservatives are elected this year, that conservatives hold government accountable after election day, and that we keep the pressure up every year after that. Never been active in politics (don't like it), but feel obligated to make a difference and give something back - to be pro-active to 'save' this country we love from its disastrous trend. I am currently running as a Precinct Delegate in my District here in Michigan. Thank you, Beka, for your words of encouragement - we matter! One step at a time ~

Wonderful article and so true! I have seen women stand up and join this fight more recently as our leaders have chipped away at our freedoms...which us mama bears hold dear. I also never had any political aspirations but last year I sent a letter to the Des Moines TEa Party telling them why I would be attending the rally and got a phone call asking me to speak at the event. I was beyond terrified....but my fear of NOT speaking up overruled my fear of speaking to an unknown crowd. That crowd turned out to be about 4,000 people and it was an experience I'll never forget. Like you, I'm short and blonde, but I've said it before, you mess with my family or my country and you better look out!
I aspire to be like those brave women who do so much in small ways.
thank you for your article...I'm passing it along...oh and thank you AM for the wonderful seminar down in Dallas :)
