About American Majority

American Majority is a national non-profit, non-partisan political training institute whose mission is to train and equip a national network of leaders committed to individual freedom through limited government and the free market. Headquartered in Purcellville, Virginia, we currently have state offices in Arkansas, Kansas, Minnesota, Oklahoma and Texas, with plans to open additional state offices in 2010.

It is going to take engaged citizens working together in their communities to effectively implement freedom on a national level. We believe that individual liberty will only be achieved through limited government and free markets and that by training candidates and activists to be effective towards those goals today, we will enhance tomorrow.

Our organizational philosophy remains centered around the grassroots. We work hard to ensure our premier training programs are accessible to activists and candidates around the country. Since our inception in 2008, we have held hundreds of trainings in dozens of states, providing resources and education to thousands of candidates and grassroots activists.

Unfortunately, many believe their responsibilities end at protest. In fact, protesting is only the beginning. For many, they will move beyond protest to implementation, often running for local office or organizing a grassroots organization in their community. American Majority is here to help both campaigns and organizations find success. As the premiere grassroots training organization, our focus is always on education. To help us reach farther, this website is built around three very critical components: our trainings, our resources, and our blog.

Trainings

American Majority’s political trainings provide even the most seasoned campaign vet with information on how to improve and win. From developing a phone bank and organizing GOTV to designing a petition on Twitter, each training is designed to elevate a specific level of your organization. In addition, we are developing a program for college campuses and those looking to learn more about this country’s founding principles.  To learn more, head on over to the political training page.

Resources

In addition to our live trainings, we continue to development free, supplemental resources. From our guide to Twitter and activism to a podcast series on running for office, you will find something valuable on our resources page. We are constantly updating and improving the resources found there, so be sure to bookmark and stop back often.

Blog

Something new to the website, our blog was designed to both inform and entertain. Because our trainings are limited in time, we hope to use this resource as a place to continue the conversation, sharing information and opening dialogues with Americans from across the country. We are willing to explore topics in greater depth and answer questions we did not cover in training, so head on over and join the conversation.
