Campus Majority
American Majority believes that college students will and should play a vital role in the liberty movement. Our Campus Majority program is designed to equip students to be effective advocates for liberty by offering practical training, encouragement and resources.
Too often the movement has left the youthful generation out, and too often students have stayed silent in moments when they could have debated, chosen to remove themselves when their leadership was critical. Today’s students understand the importance of their involvement and are uniquely equipped to step into a leadership role at a moment’s notice. We are prepared to ensure they will succeed when called upon.
Getting involved on campus, in campaigns or in the world of new media can be daunting. How does the system work? Where does one start? These questions and more are answered in our FREE Campus Majority training.
During the training, students will learn to stand up for freedom:
Campus Activism
- Learn how to start or lead a student organization
- Hold your university accountable and demand transparency
- Run an effective campaign for student government
- Increase student involvement and make a lasting difference
Campaign Activism
- Develop the skills necessary to volunteer for or manage a local campaign
- Understand the essentials of campaign strategy, grassroots mobilization, communication and fundraising
- Learn how to conduct get out the vote and voter registration drives
- Learn to utilize time and talents to maximize effort spent
Media Activism
- Find your voice through Twitter, blogs and wiki projects
- Write for your online newspaper – or start your own!
- Use Podcasts and video projects to share your views with your campus
- Learn the secrets to effective Facebook Activism and maximizing your network
