Our nation was founded by ordinary citizen activists desiring a government that was accountable to the people.  Today, ordinary citizens across our nation are tired of the status quo and ready to engage for the betterment of their communities using the tools offered through social media.

American Majority’s activist and social media training addresses these passions by providing education, resources, and guidance to help you meet your goals as political social media users.

American Majority is pleased to announce an Activist/Social Media Training will be conducted on Saturday, February 18, in Tulsa, OK to provide citizens with the tools necessary to become effective activists in the realm of Social Media tools such as Facebook, Twitter, Wikis, and Blogging.

The training will take place at Lord of Life Lutheran Church located at 12802 S. Memorial Dr in Bixby, OK, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.  The cost is $15. Registration is available at the door on the day of the event but online preregistration is strongly encouraged. Space is limited.

Topics to be covered during the Training include:

• Social Capitalism – Using Social Media for Political Means
• Twittivism – Using Twitter to Educate Yourself and Educate Others
• Facebook: A Beginner’s Guide – Taking Your Facebook Use to the Next Level

This will be a complete “how-to” seminar: We strongly encourage you to bring a laptop!

Full training materials, samples, and supplements will be provided to help you apply what you learn to your organization, candidate, cause or community.  Lunch will be provided.
